Shepard Fairey's "Hope" poster of Barack Obama has spawned dozens of knockoffs and spoofs that depict pop stars, politicians and other famous faces.
The images, produced in the muted red-and-blue tones of Fairey's collectible campaign poster, carry permutations on the single-word message of the original. ("Dope" is popular, as you might imagine.)
Some are rude, some are funny. You can see a gallery of them at Rene Wanner's Poster Page (screenshot above). The website also points to a helpful Photoshop tutorial and a handy web tool, both of which will put you well on your way to creating your own "Hope"-style poster.
